Ninth Month, Eleventh Hour

We really need to start getting serious about Pat's name-to-be. Pat's up against the wall - literally and figuratively. Extrauterine influences (being referred to as "Pat") are driving the poor child's normal ontological trajectory to match the namesake.

We must act while there is still time to reverse the process!

Names suggested so far include:
Isaiah
Sophia
Clara
Abigail
Priscilla
Gidget
Tex
Dickie
Chrissy
Wolly
Herkimer, Shaver, Carlos, Carla, Imogene, and Nell.

In an attempt to force a dramatic phenotypic turn-around in the fetal person-to-be, I pictorially throw a new name suggestion into the ring:

Elvis rules. Costello, I mean. I ran a few more names past Holly lately - good solid one syllable names that are direct, honest, and easy to spell. To wit:
Tad (or Todd)
Biff
Chaz (or Chazz)
Knut (wait, that's 1 1/2 syllables)
Rex (down, boy)
Bob
Tim
Zeke
Dwile
Dwight
Art
Shep.

Or Elvis.

What about Farquhar, Enos, Sly, Romeo, Lamar, Burl, or Purvis?

Seriously though, I am grateful it is not up to my family to name our child!!!

jI worked with a woman named Biechtieu at the bank, but everyone spelled her name "B2." You should consider names with numbers in them.

Also, think about names that begin with "the" like The Hulk or The Boris.

As a more serious suggestion, though, I enjoy names that begin and/or end with vowels, Aurora being the best example. Tough on a kid who can't say his Rs, though.

I'm leaning more to Mahalingham-barakrishna...or just Pubus.

I do like Emily's idea...Pat is becoming more The Pat everyday...Pat rules and let's us know it hourly.

My cousin/roommate Erin would like to offer this resource into the mix:

She also let me look at her baby name book and the names of Hebrew and Irish origin seem to be my favorite.
