...even though it might be an interesting family contrast to his/her dad's first name.
Having spent some time wondering how we might keep a running list of potential names on this blog, the best I can come up with is actually start a list so that those so inspired can simply cut and paste the most current list into a Word document, save it on their desktops, and use it as a basis for adding new inspirations. To wit, so far we have:

Gidget was not a serious suggestion. However, I've decided to put all my voting power (if I have any) into Imogene. I love that.
Yes, I also like Imogene.

Well, the problem with Shaver is that the kid will end up feeling pressured to live up to his title as "one who shaves." I mean, what if he doesn't want to shave?
Then he will probably join forces with Herkimer.
