In Tribute to Roy Johnson

We said goodby to Roy (Jim's Godfather)  yesterday in Janesville, together with a wonderful church full of his many friends and prolific family- (including 19 grandchildren!)
Above is a picture of their family home which is now up for sale, and a picture of  Mom and Ann getting caught up.  They were still at it when we were informed that it was time to close the building! Ann will be living in the cities in the future and she and Mom will be able to get together much easier now. The eulogy was written and given by their son Chris- a beautiful job; everyone loved it!
Farewell Roy, we will remember you and we will miss you.

Nice post, Jim. Roy Was a great guy and I liked him a lot. I remember all of us going on an overnight visit to spend with the Johnson family when we were little, it was a lot of fun. The entire Johnson family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember late nights and early mornings stuffed in a tent with the Johnson kids at Bass Lake, while Dad, Mom, Roy, and Ann would be out in the pontoon boat. Listening to landings was always an adventure!
