Wow...just, wow. We were talking it my education class last month about how much the American high school is going to need to change to make sure students are prepared for the future workforce. There is going to be a high demand for "idea people." With higher education becoming less and less affordable, I worry that there won't be opportunities for everyone to become educated as those "idea people."
Also, the University has been asked to recruit as many possible high school Chinese teachers as they can find, no doubt because of China's rising influence in the world. I predict schools will change a lot in the coming years.
Fascinating! If 1/2 the projections come true, the effects will be astounding- some of this presentation reminded me of observations Joe made to me (Jim) during the 80's- to the effect that, statistically, because of population explosion, and how many people have ever been on the planet and how many are on it now, there probably are many Einstiens, Alexander the Greats, Marie Curies, Hitlers... walking the earth right now, and more than likely they are in China, or India. Anyway thanks Joe- how best to guide Sam, and ourselves in light of this? thot prevokin!
Yay for China! The power of the 21st century. And, unfortunately, the ruin as well. By the way, I have never yet in my entire life sent a text message (I don't know how).

Here's a link to some China baby news- this would make Owen Jr. a lucky golden year of the pig baby! Perhaps funkybutton should market to Chinese mothers, as many products are forcasted to be in short supply there in the upcoming years?
whoops- the site didn't come up as a link, but you can copy and paste it to your browser to take you there-
uh oh Pete...if your mom can txt you had best learn, too!
